A few years ago I was asked if I wanted to live to be 100 years old. The answer is simple. Yes, if I am healthy. Will I live to be 100? Be healthy? Have disease? Cancer? Diabetes? Arthritis? I don’t know for sure, but one thing I do know. My chances are pretty good that I will be healthy. That I will not have these diseases. When I die I want to die healthy. I don’t want to be sick and miserable.
Does the food we eat really affect our health? I believe that it does completely!
I have a lot of reasons to be healthy. Here are 3 of my reasons. My family is the most important to me. I want to play with my grand children and, when they come, my great grand children. I want to create good memories with my posterity. I want my family to remember the good times. I don’t want them to have to take care of me as I age.
I just received word from a family member that the arthritis is eating away their jaw bone. They are in constant pain. The inflammation we experience in our joints causes damage. It is important to keep that inflammation down! We need to keep our joints healthy.
To help keep that inflammation down I take a few vitamins.
Glucosamine Chondroitin (1500 mg/1200 mg) This will help your joints and build cartilage. My husband had to have cartilage removed from his knee. When he takes this he is able to move his knee more freely. Take two tablets daily.
Turmeric – turmeric is great for inflammation. We need to keep the inflammation down in our joints. You can take it in vitamin form or add to your foods.
Ginger – ginger is also great for inflammation. You can also take this as a vitamin or add to your food.
Coconut Oil – I take this with my vitamins. It helps with absorption of the vitamins. It is also a fantastic anti inflammation. Coconut oil is so good for so many things!
My goal is to help you to eat healthy. Be healthy!
