Honey Whole Wheat Bread

I use to have a bread machine a long, long time ago.  I have not used one in years because to me it is easier to make several loaves of bread and freeze the extra loaves.  Some people prefer to make bread in the bread machine because it is quick and you always have fresh bread.

I have converted my whole wheat bread recipe for the bread machine so now you have the option to make a quick and easy loaf bread that is DELICIOUS!

All you have to do is put all the ingredients in the bread machine press start and walk away until it is done.

I had a friend request that I convert my recipe to make in the bread machine.   She made the bread and took pictures for me.  She said it was so good!  I am glad it worked well for her!

From what I remember you push the button and forget about it until it is ready.  But as a note she did have to add a little more wheat into the dough so keep an eye on it when it is kneading to make sure there is enough flour in it.

Dough is perfect as it is pulling away from sides.

When I make my bread I grind my wheat into flour with a wheat grinder.  You can also buy whole wheat flour from the grocery store.

Also, it is better to use raw honey.  You don’t want your ingredients to be processed.

I like to use coconut oil in my bread to help me get my daily coconut oil eaten.  But you can also use olive oil.  Whichever you prefer.  Just make sure it is extra virgin.

Honey Whole Wheat Bread

1 1/2 cup warm water
3 Tblsp. extra virgin coconut oil (melted) or olive oil
1/4 cup plus 2 Tblsp. raw honey
1/2 Tblsp. active dry yeast
1/2 Tblsp. sea salt
3 3/4 cup whole wheat flour

Put all ingredients bread machine. Cook according to machine instructions.
