Healthy Cornbread

This cornbread recipe is very simple.  Only 7 ingredients and it is delicious!  I love recipes that you don’t need a lot of ingredients for.  Simple is so much easier!

Eating a whole food diet does not mean the recipe needs to be difficult or time consuming.

Healthy cornbread

Most cornbread recipes call for sugar.  Some have a little sugar and some have a lot.  For this recipe I chose not to add any sweetener.  When I eat  cornbread I generally top it with butter and honey.   To me this is enough of a sweetener.  Especially if you are eating the cornbread with chili or beans.

Turkey Noodle Soup

One of the best things after the big Thanksgiving dinner are the leftovers that you have!   What is your favorite thing to do with your leftover turkey?  Ours is turkey noodle soup!

Soup is always good!  My favorite thing about this recipe is that you can use up some of the leftovers from the big meal in something besides just sandwiches. 🙂
