My daughter requested that I make some caramel popcorn. I have already done a kettle corn recipe using honey but she wanted caramel corn.
It took me a couple of tries but I think we have a keeper!
Last week I gave my niece a bridal shower and made this caramel popcorn. Everyone loved it. I made a double batch and it was gone fast!

I had some barley in my pantry that I wanted to try making some biscuits or rolls with. I made these rolls for our family dinner and they were gone in a hurry!
The barley gives the rolls a slight nutty flavor.
Barley is part of the grass family. It is generally used as a cereal. Barley is high in dietary fiber, magnesium, vitamin B6 and low in fat! So much nutrition! Who knew!?!
It is important to get as much nutrition as you can from the food you eat. Your body will thank you for it!
6 1/2 years ago when my husband said he thought he found a way for me to get rid of my fibromyalgia and arthritis with the food I ate I thought he was crazy. I have learned a lot about the foods we put in our bodies and that it really does make a big difference!
Not only has it made a difference with my aches and pains but I have more energy. My thyroid function has improved. And my osteoporosis has drastically improved! In fact I don’t have osteoporosis anymore!

My husband LOVES apple fritters! I think he loves anything with baked apples.
I use whole wheat flour in this apple fritters recipe. Sometimes when using whole wheat flour it gives the recipe a heaviness. I like to use white wheat. That helps a lot with the heaviness.
The best wheat to use for this is soft wheat. I don’t have any soft wheat right now so I used the hard white wheat and it works great!
