Honey kettle corn

I had not eaten kettle corn in years until just a few weeks ago.  My sweet hubby was making popcorn and my mother in law asked him if he has ever added honey to it.  He decided he was going to try it.

He did not give up until he succeeded.  After several batches of trial and perfecting he now has it down.  I asked him to make it last night so I could share it with you today.  🙂

Honey Kettle Corn

First thing is your equipment.   We LOVE the Wabash Valley Farms Whirley-Pop Stovetop Popcorn Popper popcorn popper.   We are on our second popper in the last 20 years.  We use it a lot!

Popcorn popped with coconut oil is tasty!  Just add some sea salt and you have a good healthy snack.

If you want to know the health benefits of coconut oil you can read that here.

Or add raw unfiltered honey for a sweet treat!  You will add the honey when the popcorn is done popping.  Add the honey and continue to stir the popcorn over the heat.

There is a lot of health benefits to honey as well!  You can read about it here.

Let it sit for a few minutes then enjoy!
