Peanut Butter Chocolates

Who doesn’t LOVE chocolate?  Chocolate has become known for when you are stressed or feeling down EAT CHOCOLATE!  Chocolate makes you feel better.  These chocolates will definitely make you feel better!

Something people will often say to me when they find out I don’t eat sugar is “I could not go without chocolate!”  Well, you don’t have too!

Peanut Butter Chocolates

Chocolate is made from the the cacao bean.  This bean is really bitter!  My brother in law eats them and gave me one to try.  Dark chocolate has less sugar than milk chocolate so it is a bit more bitter.

The cacao bean is actually healthy!  Who knew?  What makes it unhealthy is all the sugar we put in it so we can eat it!

Some of the health benefits of the raw cacao bean are:

40 Times the Antioxidants of Blueberries

Highest Plant-Based Source of Iron

Full of Magnesium for a Healthy Heart & Brain

 More Calcium Than Cow’s Milk

A Natural Mood Elevator and Anti-Depressant

I use TruVibe 100% Organic Raw Cacao Powder 2 lbs (2 – 16oz Packs).  You will not notice a difference between this and the cocoa powder you buy at the grocery store  but your body will notice a difference.

Also, when making these chocolates make sure your peanut butter is peanuts and salt only.  Nothing else.

Please note: you will need to keep these in the fridge.  The coconut oil will cause them to get soft.
